Who is a Hydrologist? A Hydrologist is a specialist in Hydrology. Hydrology is a branch of science that researches and studies complex water systems of the earth and how water-related problems can be solved. It is a scientific career.

Hydrologists often work with other environmental scientists. Typically, a new hydrologist spend the large part of his/her time in the field. A more experienced Hydrologist may work in the office and laboratory more. The job scope often involve finding solutions for water-related problems. Work scope may include investigating the original condition of certain water environments as well as studying the flow, distributions, properties of water systems on the Planet.

Qualification wise, the minimum requirement to be a Hydrologist is usually a bachelor’s degree in an earth science-related field.

A Vocalist or Singer is also another kind of musician. However, in this case, the vocalist uses his or her voice as the instrument itself. Vocalists perform music known as songs. Songs can also be accompanied by musical instruments.

Whether, it be a Musical Instrumentalist or Vocalists, all musician have to be talented in their specific area of specialization.

The job scope of the Lifeguard is mainly to ensure the safety of swimmers. He is essentially an emergency service personnel whose responsibility lies in save guarding water safety.

Lifeguards are typically employed at swimming pools and beaches. Besides the main job of ensuring swimmer safety, life guards often need to clean the swimming environment. These includes the swimming pool, pump room and filter systems. Life guards are also required to conduct regular chlorine checks for swimming pools.

What does it take to become a lifeguard? Many life guards are associated to Lifeguard and Lifesaving societies or associations. All life guards must be strong swimmers. They must also possess CPR certificate. Personality-wise, life guards should enjoy swimming and the outdoor.
