The Career Profile of the Animator will be described in this article.  An animator can be classified into 2 types:

1. 2D Animator

2. 3D Animator

Animators, regardless of specialisation, are very visually-inclined people.

2D animators are often required in the Cartoon industry.

3D animators are often required in the Games as well as Movie making industry. Very likely, the job of a 3D animator is closely linked to that of the 3D Modeller.
