This article talks about the career information and profile of the Choreographer. A choreographer works alongside dancers to produce a dance composition.
He has to coordinate the lighting, costume, set, props and music in accordance to a brief. Thereafter, he has to lead his dancers from the rehearsals to the actual performance.
A choreographer must be creative and flexible to be able to create a beautiful piece of dance composition. He must possess leadership skills and be people oriented so as to be able to coordinate and lead his team well.
He usually has a Diploma in Dance. It would be most preferred id he has a Bachelor of Arts/ Fine Arts in Dance, a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre or a Diploma in Dance.
