Disc Jockeys are the ‘link’ between the music and the audience. This essay is about the career profile and information for the Disc Jockey.

A disc jockey job scope involves selecting and playing prerecorded music for an audience. They are also known as Dee-jays.

There are several types of Disc Jockeys. There are as listed below:

Radio disc jockey or Radio DJ. Radio DJ broadcast their music over the radio. Radio DJs often become popular household names too.

Hip hop disc jockeys.This kind of DJs may play and/or create music which may be accompanied by hip-hop performances.

Mobile disc jockeys. Mobile disc jockeys are DJs that are on the move. They travel to where their service is required.

Reggae disc jockey. The Reggae disc jockey may raps as well.

Club disc jockeys. As the name implies, the Club disc jockey works in a club.

Car Show disc jockey. This guy works at car shows.

How to become a Disc Jockey? Personality-wise, a Disc Jockey must love music. He or she must also have the gift of gab. Dee-jays should ideally have out-going personality and are very up-to-date in terms of music and songs. Many Disc Jockeys are celebrities themselves that can garner a large following or fan base.

    But all these jobs have different nature.
