This is the career profile for the Database Developer.
His job is similar to that of a Database Analyst. His duties include conducting system tests, maintaining database, designing, coding, testing and implementing complex programs and scripts, and writing commands for data manipulation.
A Database Developer is expected to provide input on highly complex and high-impacting decisions within his specialty. He usually possesses a degree in computer-related studies or Information Systems.
With a good track record, he can progress to become a Knowledge Architect.
