Chiropodists can offer advise on proper foot-care and the prevention of feet problems for many types of patients. These patients range from the young to the elderly. Additionally, they also treat sport-related injuries.

To be a Chiropodist, one must have a recognised degree in a relevant field such as chiropody or podiatry.

Inclination-wise, a chiropodist need to have fine and nimble hands as well as good eyesight.
