A Dentist diagnoses and treats diseases and disorders of the teeth, mouth, jaws and gums. He provides professional advice to his patients and performs routine check-ups and treatments for them.
A Dentist must be meticulous and good at precision work. Besides that, he must possess good health, good eyesight, and lots of patience in the face of anxious patients.
Requirements into this line would be a Bachelor of Dental Surgery or any equivalent qualifications recognized under the local Dentists Register. One may choose to specialize as a/ an: Endonthist, Orthodontist, Oral/ Maxillofacial Surgeon, Paediatric Dentist, Periodontist, Prosthodontist.
