A nurse looks after the sick and disabled and promotes a healthy lifestyle. The job of a nurse includes assisting patients, as well as monitoring and recording their condition. He or she will have to work shifts, on weekends and on public holidays.

An enrolled nurse must be compassionate and committed in helping the sick and disabled. He must also be physically and emotionally strong, alert to emergencies and sensitive to his patients’ needs.

Career Requirements into this line would be a National Certificate/ a Diploma in Nursing. With experience, one may progress to Senior Enrolled Nurse and, with a Diploma in Nursing, to Staff Nurse.
