The job scope of the Occupational Therapist includes assisting people with physical and mental health problems to be independent and to cope with society.

His job is to assess his patients’ current condition and their potential for improvement, develop treatments plans for them, educate their families on how they might be helpful to the patient, and promote healthy lifestyles through workshops.

An Occupational Therapist must be observant towards their patients’ condition and be able to encourage his patients to be self-reliant.

Entry career requirements into this field would be a Diploma/ Degree in Occupational Therapy. Occupational Therapists may choose to specialize in the clinical, administrative or academic field.
