A Parenting Coach teaches parents how to be parents. 
Many parents feel that they are not up to the task in childcare. At times, they may prefer to consult a parenting coach than a therapist. Basically, a Parenting Coach imparts to the client knowledge and skills that are beneficial for parenting situations.
There are institutes that conducts certified courses for those who aspires to be Parenting Coaches. One such institute is the Parent Coach Institute. The course is mainly targetted to counselors, educators, community health, social workers and degree-holding professionals who are working with parents.
