A Marketing Manager is in charge of Brand Managers. His job scope is similar to that of a Brand Manager and includes setting long-term growth strategies for brands.
Marketing Manager must be up to date with the market and be able to attract consumer attention through marketing strategies. As a team leader, the Marketing Manager must also possess good leadership and interpersonal skills.
Entry requirements to this line would be a Degree in Business or a related discipline. With experience, one may move into Brand Management, Sales, Retailing or General Management.
